What is Coaching?

1:1 Coaching sessions offer a safe, judgement-free space for processing and untangling thoughts and feelings. The coach becomes a supportive “second brain” on your team who tracks the path, organizes and reflects back what is uncovered, who questions limiting beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, and who supports you where you choose to take action. I personally have gained so much from this style of coaching over the past 10+ years and love being able to offer it alongside other healing traditions at the HML!

Coaching can help with things like…

- Feeling stuck, lost, or overwhelmed
- Finding yourself repeating unhealthy patterns
- Facing a life transition
- Navigating complex situations in relationships, health or caregiving. I especially love supporting growth-minded women, caregivers, and those navigating neurodivergence in their families and/or complex health needs.

Coaching IS…

- A partnership
- A window of time dedicated completely to you and your needs
- A safe space for exploring thoughts and feelings
- A time for reflection & identifying what’s working & what isn’t
- A place to course correct and/or envision more aligned ways of doing life.

Coaching is NOT…

- Advice giving.
- A substitute for therapy.

The Handmade Life or, as Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés describes it, the “wholly mindful life”, represents to me a way of be-ing that is rooted in self-trust, in alignment with one’s values, and supported by a healthy community.  Coaching is a supportive tool to help us get there.
